Meet the Staff of Griffin Baptist Church

Randy S. Thomas, Senior Pastor
Pastor Randy is married to Ramona and together they have two children, a daughter-in-law and three granddaughters. 
Randy received his B.S. from Ohio University and a Masters Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He was ordained to the ministry in 1981 at the First Baptist Church of Heath, Ohio. He is active in the South Florida Baptist Association and is a trained chaplain for the Florida Disaster Relief.  Randy also serves as a part-time missionary/trainer for SOS Events out of Dover, Fl.  (Marketplace Evangelism)

Kevin Knoth, Minister of Music
Kevin is married to Tammy and they have four children and two grandchildren. 
Kevin has always been surrounded with music. Whether singing at church and choir, or playing trumpet in band, music was always there. Kevin enjoyed singing tenor with Crossfire Quartet for over 7 years. He’s been leading worship for the past 10 years.  His desire is for people to not just sing or hear the worship music, but to help them connect and feel the worship. When a church body truly worships together, the presence of God is undeniable!!!

When time permits, Kevin enjoys fishing, playing golf, and rooting on The Ohio State Buckeyes.​
